How to find your ring size

Method 1: if you already own a ring with the desired size

  1. find a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you intend to wear your new ring on.
  2. measure the inside diameter (mm) of the ring using a ruler or measuring tape.
  3. find and select the corresponding AU ring size using our size chart above.

Method 2: measure your finger

  1. measure the circumference (mm) of your knuckle on the finger you would like to wear your ring on with a tape measure.
  2. find and select the corresponding AU ring size that is either equal to or slightly larger than the circumference you measured. You may want to size up to make sure the ring isn't too tight, as our fingers can have variation in size depending on the temperature (they shrink when it's cold and swell when it's warm).

Method 3: if you don't own a tape measure

  1. find a piece of string.
  2. wrap the string around your knuckle on the finger you intend to wear your new ring on.
  3. use a pen to mark the overlapping parts of the string.
  4. lay the string out flat and measure the distance (mm) between the two marked points on the string. This should be the inside circumference of your new ring.
  5. find and select the corresponding AU ring size that is either equal to or slightly larger than the circumference you measured. You may want to size up to make sure the ring isn't too tight, as our fingers can have variation in size depending on the temperature (they shrink when it's cold and swell when it's warm).
